Laura has been dealing with numerous high net worth Asian clients with whom she not only provided professional financial advice with great results, but Laura also developed personal relationships and long lasting friendships with them.  In addition, Laura maintains a large business network that includes Asian business communities, government officials, politicians, opinion leaders, professionals such lawyers,accountants, migration agents, senior academics, media and real estate agents both in Australia and overseas.

The sky-blue coloured lining for the new 65m x 12m pond has been fitted (image left), laid on top of a protective geo textile underlay.


The liner was specially made by an Australian manufacturer to Qponics' specifications to be a thicker and more robust version of a pre-existing product and has subsequently become a standard product line with a 10- year warranty.

Silicosis death dust audit reveals 

'major epidemic worse than asbestos'"

ABC News reported on 21February 2019:

"An audit of Queensland's manufacturing stone industry has revealed 98 workers have contracted the potentially deadly lung disease silicosis — 15 of those terminal— with more than 550 workplace breaches in what health experts are calling a major epidemic.

The youngest sufferer diagnosed so far was 23 years old and had worked in the industry for six years. The audit was ordered by the Queensland Government in late 2018, after it emerged a handful of stonemasons had been diagnosed with the incurable disease."

BlueMount Capital Secures Expansion Funding

for Elite Military Fitness


I am delighted to announce that we have secured AUD $3.5 million in expansion debt financing for Elite Military Fitness (EMF), a leading Gold Coast based fitness and performance group.

EMF has built a chain of fitness and performance centres focused on providing the affordability of a small 24-hour gym, the personal service of a health club and the amenities and equipment of an elite training facility. EMF’s fitness centres were created to bring a more professional and personalised service to the community without the added expense. The Company’s aim is to offer a complete fitness model to the general population; a facility that caters for everyone’s needs without overcrowding and limited equipment. 


The funds will be used to expand the group’s footprint, incorporating new centres, as well as providing equipment finance. The funding includes a range of business facilities such as loans, equipment finance, credit cards and a bank guarantee. 


BlueMount Capital worked closely with the new funder and the client to secure the facilities, managing the approach to the market, providing financial modelling to support the transaction and negotiating with the financier, plus assisting with closing the transaction.  The facilities provided, include flexible covenants for future growth while providing competitive interest rates on all the products offered. The funding is expected to assist in meeting the groups rapid expansion plans. 


EMF co-founder Scott Freeman states "BlueMount Capital has been paramount in EMF realising our dream to delivering affordable and innovative health and fitness solutions to the greater Australian community.
